The movie's climax (a wedding between Paula and Adam) provides the perfect setting for reconciliation as the characters realize the true value of family and friendship. Besides, the reception interaction between Paula's side of the aisle (filled with "progressives") and Adam's family and friends (who are not) is ripe with comic possibilities. |
